🌟 Wisdom from Beyond: 10 Life Lessons for a Fulfilling Life

We don’t know what we don’t know.

Through my own journey of grief and struggle, I found myself asking: Why is life so painful? Why does suffering exist if God loves me? Where is the guidebook to navigate this Earth with ease, grace, and peace?

For a long while I felt like living on Earth was unbearable. While searching for answers, I stumbled upon Past Life Regression and Near-Death Experience stories — teachings that quietly transformed everything I thought I knew about pain and purpose.

My first encounter with past life regression was reading Many Lives, Many Masters by Dr. Brian Weiss, a psychiatrist who used hypnosis with a patient suffering severe anxiety and depression. She began recalling past lives and the lessons she was meant to learn from them and through this process, she healed.

Then, there are Near Death Experiences — people who clinically died, went “to the other side,” and came back to share their stories. Thousands of these accounts exist across cultures, and they hold striking similarities.

Through reading these books and countless stories, I discovered 10 profound wisdom about life, death, and what it means to live fully:

1. You are more than your body

  • Dying to Be Me (Anita Moorjani) and The Afterlife of Billy Fingers remind us that we are eternal souls having a temporary human experience. True freedom comes when we stop defining ourselves only through physical success, appearance, or roles.

2. Self-love is the foundation

  • Many of these works emphasise that self-rejection, fear, and shame are the real prisons. Loving and accepting yourself, as you are, opens the door to healing, authenticity, and joy.

3. Life is a classroom, not a punishment

  • Journey of Souls (Michael Newton) and Many Lives, Many Masters (Brian Weiss) show how souls choose experiences for growth. Even pain and hardship are part of a larger curriculum meant to deepen wisdom and compassion. We created and agreed to a life plan before we were born.

4. Forgiveness liberates the soul

  • Whether in Billy Fingers or Dolores Cannon’s regression stories, forgiveness — of self and others — releases karmic weight. Holding onto anger or resentment binds us to suffering; letting go restores flow.

5. Death is not the end

  • Across all these accounts, the afterlife is described as loving, expansive, and liberating. Knowing this reduces fear of death and helps us live more fully, with courage and lightness.

6. We are connected to something greater

  • These teachings remind us that synchronicities, intuition, and guidance from higher realms are real. We are never truly alone; there’s an invisible support system guiding our evolution.

7. Authentic living matters more than pleasing others

  • Anita Moorjani’s story especially emphasises this: trying to meet external expectations drained her life force. Living authentically, aligned with your truth, is what gives vitality and fulfilment.

8. Service amplifies meaning

  • When we use our gifts to uplift others, we align with our soul purpose. Service is not self-sacrifice but a joyful expression of love.

9. Detachment brings peace

  • Billy Fingers and Cannon’s accounts remind us not to cling too tightly to possessions, titles, or outcomes. Everything is temporary; flow with life instead of resisting it.

10. The soul craves experience, not perfection

  • Earth is meant to be messy, unpredictable, and full of contrasts. The soul doesn’t seek a flawless life but a rich one, with laughter, tears, love, and loss all contributing to its expansion.

✨ In essence:A fulfilling life is lived when we release fear, embody self-love, honour our soul’s truth, forgive, stay present, and trust the greater journey.
